Improving the Nodule Lifespan and Security Using IDS in WSN

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a collection of sensor nodes to monitor the physical surroundings also in various application such as surveillance, tracking system, machine control, automation etc., WSN are deployed mostly in open and unprotected environment. Several security attacks are invoked in wireless sensor networks during the transmission of data. Because of its open nature wireless sensor networks are vulnerable to several kinds of attacks. So, the consideration of two parametersnamely Probability Density Function (PDF) for improving the lifetime of the Wireless Sensor Nodes and securing the WSN from intruder makes Wireless Sensor Network more reliable. In this project, using the PDF to deploy the node for minimizing the waste of energy and then an Intrusion Detection System is applied on that environment to protect the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) from malicious intruder. Thus the lifetime and security of WSN has been improved.
